My name is Emily, and I am a chronic illness girlie by genes, a researcher at heart, and a nonprofit enthusiast by choice. I believe that nothing is a waste. My philosophy is built on the belief in the imago dei, <\/em> or image of God, meaning that all humans are born with inherent dignity and worth. Seeing yourself and your illness in this light can change everything. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Chronic illness is a major and usually unexpected life change. A lot of people feel a lot of anxiety, fear, sadness, anger, and so many other big emotions when their health fails. Having a lens to see this changing landscape through can make all the difference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
